  • Webinar – Authoring Tools

    This webinar presents two of the authoring tools for Platform+. You will learn how to use Google Docs to create design documents which you can easily covert into XML documents for Platform+. You will also learn how to use OLI Author, an assessment authoring tool. OLI Author enables you to create practice activities with hints and feedback and link that practice to student centered learning outcomes. This webinar discusses the software required for the October workshop and assigns pre-work to complete in advance of the workshop.

    Subversion (SVN) is a version control system and is used to manage your project’s files. This webinar explains how version control enables course development teams to collaborate. You will learn how to create, modify, rename, and delete project files using SVN. You will also incorporate SVN into your workflow and implement strategies that reduce conflicts and promote collaboration. This webinar assigns important pre-work to complete in advance of the October workshop.
